Daily Double Grading and Payout Rules

All Daily Double tickets are paid out based on the official race results as published by the host track at which the race was run. Daily Double tickets are automatically refunded where the runner selected in the first leg of a Daily Double is a scratch. In the event of a scratch in the second leg of the Daily Double, if the host track pays a Consolation Daily Double (picked the winner of the first leg, but the selection for the second leg is scratched), such winning consolation payment should automatically be paid. If no Consolation Daily Double is paid by the host track, then Daily Double tickets selecting the winner of the first leg and a scratch in the second leg will be automatically refunded. If these refunds and payouts do not occur in accordance with these rules, please contact Customer Service for assistance.

Pick 3's, Pick 4's, Pick 6's Grading and Payout Rules

All Pick 3's, Pick 4's, and Pick 6's tickets are paid out based on the official race results as published by the host track at which the race was run.

If your selection in the first leg of a Pick 3's, Pick 4's, and Pick 6's is a loss, then the entire combination is deemed a loss, regardless of a scratched horse among the subsequent selections.

If a horse is scratched in any leg except the first, we follow the official payout results posted by the track when a horse is scratched on Pick 3's, Pick 4's, and Pick 6's tickets. If the track offers a consolation payout, you will receive the post time favorite and that consolation payout if the favorite wins. If the track does not offer such a payout you can request a refund for Pick 3's, Pick 4's, and Pick 6 wagers provided the other selections in the wager were winners.

We reserve the right to refund Pick 3's, Pick 4's, and Pick 6's tickets where a scratched runner is selected for a leg of the ticket after the scratch has been posted by the host track, but before the scratch has been entered in the race book.

Parimutuel Betting Pool

The bets you place at Sportsinteraction Racebook do not contribute towards the track's parimutuel betting pool. Therefore, if the track payout on a race pays to ALL (when nobody who bet into the pool has a winning ticket), you will receive one consolation payout per winning combination. For example, suppose you placed the following Pick 3 wager: 2 / 3 / 3. If the ensuing result is 2 / 3 / 3 and nobody who bet into the pool placed that exact bet, bets on each of the following combinations will receive a consolation payout: 2 / 3 / <any horse>; 2 / <any horse> / 3; or <any horse> / 3 / 3.

Pool Manipulation

Where there is evidence of pool manipulation, all affected wagers will be deemed void and all funds wagered on the affected wagers will be refunded.

Voiding Bets

Sportsinteraction offers live post times on all horse wagers. Wagers entered after official post time (MPT) will be graded No Action.

In the event that a wager type (e.g., Trifecta) is offered by Sportsinteraction but not at the host track, all affected wagers will be considered no action.

Horse racing bets on futures and proposition wagers that are offered in Sportsinteraction.com's sportsbook section will be subject to the general sportsbook rules.

Coupled entries for US and Canadian tracks.

  1. The term "entry" means a horse made eligible to run in a race. When starters in a race include two or more horses owned by the same person, they shall be coupled as an entry, with no exceptions. A wager on one horse in the entry shall be a wager on all horses in the entry. If a race is split in two or more divisions, horses in an entry shall be seeded in separate divisions, but the divisions in which they compete and their post positions shall be drawn by lot.
  2. Horses owned wholly or in part by the same trainer, person or the spouse of the person shall be coupled and run as an entry.
  3. If one horse is scratched after the betting is under way, the remaining horse shall run as a betting entry. This means no refunds unless both entries are scratched
  4. Starters in a race which include two horses of different ownership trained by the same person, trained in the same stable or trained by the same management may not be coupled as an entry and shall constitute separate wagering interests. In no case may more than two horses having common trainer ties as defined in this section start in a race.
