Christer Johansson wins the 2009 Irish Open!

Christer Johansson won the 2009 Irish Open, taking home the €600,000 first place prize. The well known cash game and limit specialist who plays under the handle ‘sendmemore’ battled through the 700 strong playing field witch included poker stars such as Dan Harrington, Jamie Gold, Phil Laak, Marty Smyth, Ciaran O'Leary and Neil Channing.

Canadian born Kara Scott finished in second place, taking home €312,600 making the Irish Open her biggest win to date.
