How it works

Every time you play in a tournament you will receive points based on the following formula. Sit & Go tournaments, private tournaments and play money tournaments do not count towards the leaderboard rankings.

Where:

P = Points earned
N = Number of entrants in tournament
F = Finishing position
B = Original buy-in

Examples:

1. A player takes third place in a $3 tournament with a field of 356 players.

N = 356
F = 3
B = 3

The total points awarded to this players is

=20*SQRT((N/F)*SQRT(((B+0.1)/2)))
=20* SQRT ((118.67 * SQRT (1.55))
=20* SQRT (147.74)
=20* 12.15
=243.10

*a player finishing in first position would have received 421.06 points.

2. A player takes third place in a 5 Gold Chips Tournament with a field of 763 players. Gold Chips Tournaments are treated as freerolls.

N = 763
F = 3
B = 0

The total points awarded to this players is

=20*SQRT*SQRT/2)))
=20* SQRT ((254.33 * SQRT (0.05))
=20* SQRT (56.87)
=20* 7.54
=150.83

*a player finishing in first position would have received 261.24 points!

3. A player finishes 542 in a $1,000 tournament with a field of 1283 players.

N = 1283
F = 542
B = 1.000

The total points awarded to this players is

=20*SQRT((N/F)*SQRT(((B+0.1)/2)))
=20* SQRT ((2.37 * SQRT (500.05))
=20* SQRT (53.00)
=20* 7.28
=145.51
