The November Nine
When the smoke cleared in Vegas after seven weeks of poker, only nine were left standing. The November Nine, the last players left at the World Series of Poker, will reconvene this November when they will play off to see who will be named World Series of Poker Champion for 2009.

In order of stack size:
1. Darvin Moon: 58,930,000
ESPN.com has quoted Moon, saying: "What were there, 6,400 players in this tournament?" a stunned Moon asked, unaccustomed to the attention. "I'd guess about 6,300 of them are better poker players than I am."
2. Eric Buchman: 34,800,000
Over the past 5 years, Buchman has cashed at the WSOP nine times. He also has four cashes on the World Poker Tour. His total winnings are estimated at $967,199.
3. Steven Begleiter: 29,885,000
With no big tournament wins to his name, Begleiter sits in third position. The 47-year-old father of three lived in New York.
4. Jeff Shulman: 19,580,000
Schulman is President and COO of Card Player Magazine and has an estimated $1.3 Million in tournament earnings. In 2000 Schulman finished seventh in the WSOP event, taking home $146,700. In 2003 he finished in 31st place.
5. Joe Cada: 13,215,000
This year’s youngest player, and he has a chance to break Peter Eastgate’s record for the youngest champion
6. Kevin Schaffel: 12,390,000
The fifty-one year old Schaffel has estimated tournament winnings of $168,661. Schaffel is looking forward to playing a lot of golf over the next few months.
7. Phil Ivey: 9,765,000
Phil Ivey is possibly the greatest poker player in the world. Ivey is placed 2nd in the 'All Time Money List' with an estimated $12,096,302 in winnings and has an impressive seven WSOP bracelets to his name.
8. Antoine Saout: 9,500,000
The Frenchman has only been playing professional poker for about a year. He has no documented tournament winnings.
9. James Akenhead: 6,800,000
Akenhead is listed 15th in the '2009 Money List' which is a huge improvement to his 125th place in the 2008 list. Akenhead and Saout are both short staked and the only Europeans at the final table.
